Teacher PD—Teaching about Queensland Parliament (Townsville)

Faciliated by members of the Education team,Teaching about Queensland parliament is free professional development session created especially for teachers of Civics and Citizenship, HASS, Legal Studies and Social and Community Studies. 

During this session you will:

• meet other teachers over afternoon tea (supplied)
• deepen your knowledge and understanding of key concepts including the levels of government, and the people, functions and processes of Queensland parliament
• learn more about our range of programs and resources (and how we can help and support your teaching and learning)
• see and participant in hands-on practical activities you can use in your own classroom
• leave with a selection of materials and resources you can use straight away!
