This event has passed Register

Event description

Let's make a splash for all things water in the curriculum with the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium, SA Water and Green Adelaide!

Hear from three South Australian institutions in this informative and hands-on teacher professional development workshop around water in version 9 of the curriculum!

Join Educator Jade from SA Water, Wendy from Green Adelaide and Researcher Chelsea Novice from the State Herbarium to learn some new skills that you can transfer to in-class learning sequences.

Gain insight about the important work being undertaken in the State Herbarium and participate in a marine plant mounting workshop so you can create an Herbarium in your classroom.

Engage with some of the learning resources that SA Water has developed for teachers and your learners.

Impact your learners and schools' sustainability practices through strategies shared by Green Adelaide.

The content presented will be relevant to HASS, Geography, Science and Sustainability in the curriculum.
