Teacher Training Session

Interested in knowing how to create a more inclusive environment for LGBTIQA+ students and staff at your school?

Youth Pride Network is hosting a free information session for WA based high school teachers and staff wanting to better support LGBTIQA+ students.

Our recently released "State Of Play Report II: LGBTIQA+ Young People's Experiences of High School" illustrates how the state's education system is failing to ensure the safety and wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ students. This session will be an opportunity for teachers and school staff to learn more about the importance of building and maintaining an inclusive schooling environment, access additional resources and information, and connect with other allies and LGBTIQA+ staff and teachers.

Refreshments and light snacks will be provided. Places are limited, so please make sure to register!

Accessibility info
A.H. Bracks has 4 accessible parking bays available, located on level and even bitumen. There is wide, level access to the complex and the entrance to the library has automatic sliding doors. All aisles are wide and open at each end. A unisex accessible toilet is available for patrons to use and it is kept unlocked. There is one library catalogue computer with large text available for use.
