    Rory San Miguel
Rory San Miguel is the founder and CEO of Propeller Aero. A self-proclaimed “robot guy”, Rory’s love of technology started with go-karts, engines, and computers as a youth and extended to college where he taught fellow engineering students how to build and fly drones. After helping found a drone delivery company, Rory and his co-founder, Francis Vierboom, started Propeller Aero to champion the application of photogrammetry and help the underserved construction and resources industries use 3D drone modeling to make better maps of their worksites.

Rory’s efforts to advance drone mapping earned him a spot on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in 2018 and has helped the company secure over $30 million in venture funding. Propeller employs 160 passionate employees all over the world and helps thousands of customers in the resources and heavy civil space tap more power from their worksite data.
