About the Event
Tech Industry Night is a student-founded, independently organised networking event connecting ambitious technology students with industry.
Hosted at QUT and run by a dedicated student committee, the event is built by students, for students and is designed to create meaningful, professional conversations between students and companies across software engineering, data, cybersecurity, consulting, and emerging technologies.
Created by students who understand the challenges of breaking into tech, Tech Industry Night focuses on quality over volume. We aim to provide a structured, welcoming environment where attendees can build genuine connections, gain insight into career pathways, and explore opportunities with organisations shaping Australia’s technology landscape.

Samson is an APAC AI Architect with many years of technical and business professional experience, having held diverse roles across Emergency Systems Repair, IT, Cybersecurity, Strategy, Data and Applied AI. Samson is a founder of the Physical AI Builders community where he helps others unlock their creativity to build with AI.
