Do you wish to learn more about accessing digital library content? Do you have some questions about basic use of your devices? Geraldton Regional Library will be offering free, basic one-on-one tech help sessions from June - August every Tuesday fortnightly.
Each session is 30 minutes long and can cover any of the topics below. Pre-registration is essential. Bringing your own device is encouraged.
Our staff can assist you with:
- Accessing digital content: Download ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, and more from platforms like BorrowBox, Libby, Kanopy, and Hoopla on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
- Navigating the Library Catalogue: Efficiently search, locate and reserve materials within our library catalogue.
- Using social media: Get basic guidance on how to use Facebook.
- Setting up and using email: Create and manage email accounts and perform basic internet searches.
- Operating devices: Receive support for basic operations on smartphones, iPads/tablets, and laptops.
