Tech Tuesday at the Geraldton Regional Library

Do you wish to learn more about accessing digital library content? Do you have some questions about basic use of your devices? Geraldton Regional Library will be offering free, basic one-on-one tech help sessions from June - August every Tuesday fortnightly.

Each session is 30 minutes long and can cover any of the topics below. Pre-registration is essential. Bringing your own device is encouraged.

Our staff can assist you with: 

• Accessing digital content: Download ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, and more from platforms like BorrowBox, Libby, Kanopy, and Hoopla on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
• Navigating the Library Catalogue: Efficiently search, locate and reserve materials within our library catalogue.
• Using social media: Get basic guidance on how to use Facebook.
• Setting up and using email: Create and manage email accounts and perform basic internet searches.
• Operating devices: Receive support for basic operations on smartphones, iPads/tablets, and laptops.
