Come along to a small group session and improve your digital literacy! NBN ambassador Katharine Routh will provide advice and support on topics that will help you navigate the digital world. Content covered will include communication over phone and email, understanding apps and websites, and how to protect your digital legacy and online footprint, as well as time for your own questions. Includes a short tea & coffee break.

Topic 1:Â CommunicationÂ
A small group session to provide assistance with sending emails and attachments on a mobile device. How to make sure that the information you are sending is safe to do and learning the merits of using a video calling application.

Topic 2:Â Understanding apps and websites
Do you wonder what the difference is between an app and a website? Do you wonder if websites/apps are safe to use? This short class will decipher some language for you so that you can have a better understanding of the mobile applications that are available to you. With confidence and understanding of what these things are, you will then be able to make clearer decisions on what will or won’t work for you.

Join us for an interactive session to learn about how you can manage and plan for your digital legacy. We will cover some important information about your digital presence and digital assets and tips on how to ensure the peace of mind of you and your family.
