TEDxAlbury 2026 - Where Curiosity Crosses Borders

On Saturday 14 November, TEDxAlbury returns to the Albury Entertainment Centre for an afternoon of ideas, stories, performances and unexpected moments — all sparked by curiosity.

From 2pm, we’ll cross borders of thought, story and possibility, hearing from people with ideas worth sharing and creating plenty of opportunities to follow your own curiosity along the way.

What to expect

TEDxAlbury is more than what happens on the Red Dot.

Across the afternoon, you’ll experience our line-up of TEDxAlbury speakers, live performances and our new 60-Second Talks — where selected audience members will take to the stage with just one minute to share an idea, story or perspective.

And there’s more to explore beyond the auditorium.

Before the event and during the interval, our foyer experiences will invite you to connect, contribute, play and get curious.

Every ticket holder will also receive a Curiosity Kit — a collection of things designed to help you capture ideas, join the conversation and make the TEDxAlbury journey your own.

60-Second Talks

What could you say in 60 seconds?

This year, we’re opening the TEDxAlbury stage to a handful of people from our audience for a series of 60-Second Talks.

Ticket holders will be invited to apply ahead of the event, with selected participants taking to the Red Dot on the day.

No slides. No long speeches. Just one idea and 60 seconds to share it.

Beyond the Red Dot

The talks may be over. The conversation isn’t.

Join us following the event for Beyond the Red Dot — drinks, conversation and a chance to mingle with our speakers.

Runs for approximately one hour and includes drinks and canapés.

Places are limited and Beyond the Red Dot requires a separate add-on ticket, which can be selected when booking your TEDxAlbury ticket.

How much?

Tickets are $85 plus a small ticketing fee. Our Beyond the Red Dot event is $40 per person and includes drinks and canapes.

Choose your seat

TEDxAlbury 2026 is an assigned-seating event. When purchasing your ticket, you’ll be able to select your preferred available seat from the seating map.

If you’re attending with friends or family and would like to sit together, we recommend purchasing your tickets in the same transaction.

Event time

TEDxAlbury runs from 2pm on Saturday 14 November 2026 at the Albury Entertainment Centre.

We’ll provide arrival and entry details to ticket holders closer to the event.

Accessible seating

Wheelchair-accessible seating is available by arrangement. If you require wheelchair seating, please contact us and we’ll provide access to our accessible ticketing option. We’ll also make sure any carers or guests you’d like to sit with can be seated alongside you.

Tickets and refunds

As TEDxAlbury is a not-for-profit event with costs committed well in advance, tickets are non-refundable. If you find you can no longer attend, you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else.

Who's coming with you?

Please enter the name of the person who will be using each ticket, rather than the purchaser’s name for every ticket.

We’re looking for simple ways to make TEDxAlbury a little more sustainable and reduce unnecessary waste.

It’s a small thing but every item we can reuse rather than replace makes a difference.
