TEDxBendigo - Session One (10:30am)
Event description
TEDxBendigo Session One (10:30am). 'Many hands' is the theme for TEDxBendigo, to be held Saturday 29th March at the Circular Lecture Theatre at Latrobe University. It has taken many hands to create the Bendigo we know and love and it will take many hands, young and old, people of all cultures and communities, of all backgrounds and abilities, to grow a sustainable future together. Speakers include Jodi Newcombe, a regenerative economist, community connector and strategic designer living on Djaara Country, Susan Fayad, coordinating the World Heritage bid for Central Victoria, and Dr Sophie Bickford, a landscape ecologist. TEDxBendigo acknowledges the Dja Dja Wurrung and Taungurung peoples, and extends its respect to their elders past and present, and appreciation for the Traditional Owners of Country where the event will be held.
