TEDxBendigo Session Three (2:30pm). 'Many hands' is the theme for TEDxBendigo, to be held Saturday 29th March at the Circular Lecture Theatre at Latrobe University. It has taken many hands to create the Bendigo we know and love and it will take many hands, young and old, people of all cultures and communities, of all backgrounds and abilities, to grow a sustainable future together. Speakers include Dr Greg Moore, the Plant Mechanic, Professor Kate Auty, and Jimmy Stanton-Cooke, a passionate environmental activist and Co-founder and CEO of HalfCut. TEDxBendigo acknowledges the Dja Dja Wurrung and Taungurung peoples, and extends its respect to their elders past and present, and appreciation for the Traditional Owners of Country where the event will be held.
