It's the question at the heart of TEDxBessies Creek 2026. Our theme -Be Human, isn't a definition. It's an invitation. One that means something different to every person who hears it. To a scientist, it's a question of biology and discovery. To a leader, a call to accountability. To an artist, the reason they create at all.
On July 17, 2026, up to 100 people will gather in the Houston area for a day of bold ideas, genuine connection, and talks that travel far beyond the room.
