Occupying the Byron Theatre for a full day of cutting-edge ideas, TEDxByronBay will host our region’s brightest thinkers and doers. Join us as we discover ideas worth spreading.  

Speakers start from 10:30am and include:

Costa Georgiadis is the host of Gardening Australia. He'll share what makes him tick.
Franck Gazzola is an underwater adventure photographer and one of a handful of people in the world who has slept underwater. 
Zenith Virago asks whether your final act could possibly be your most subversive.
Kate Constantine is a contemporary Aboriginal artist and fair-skinned Aboriginal woman who will share her insights into being 'too black to be white but too white to be black.
Elle Davidson will challenge us to decolonise our public spaces and introduce the idea of cultural safety in our communities.
Dr. Gregory P Smith - will share his journey from homeless and living in the forest to University Professor. An unbelievable and awe-inspiring story.
Brett Solomon is reporting from the front line of the digital rights movement.
Catherine Ingram explores the interplay of hope and hopelessness in the context of our environmental crisis. 
Emilia Decker will submerge us in the underwater acoustic world of streams
Hiromi Tango is an artist who will help us understand how rainbows make us happy.
