TEDxCanberra 2021 Open Mic Night

It's back! Our Open Mic Night gives you the opportunity to pitch us your TEDxCanberra idea in just 3 minutes!

Like previous years, it's not a competition, just a chance to share your idea with the community. Some of these ideas might even end up on the TEDxCanberra stage in August. Even if you don't end up on our stage, it can be a great way to test an idea in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Potential speakers, please note: we have limited numbers. We will notify you if you've secured a speaker slot the Friday before Open Mic Night. To allow us to sort through the nominations, you need to register by close of business on Friday 7 May.

Your talk can be on the topic of your choice, but remember that TEDx's motto is 'ideas worth spreading' - use this to guide your own topic! We love topics that will stimulate, provoke and inspire audiences to share ideas and generate discussion.

We need an audience too, so register to come along even if you don’t want to present. Meet the crew, hear from some interesting people, and tell us what you want to see at TEDxCanberra this year.
