Event description
The Queensland University of Technology is proud to host its ninth TEDxQUT independently organised conference.
TEDxQUT 2023: Double Take
New, shocking, surprising, or significant ideas can, at times, take us a few moments to comprehend. We may not react instantly, that is, until the realisation that something significant or different from the norm has transpired.
Prepare yourselves for an amazing lineup of speakers who will share their ideas, stories, and perspectives, that compel us to do a double take on every day conversations and topics.
The speakers for this event can be viewed here. We will also be joined by some exciting performances throughout the program.
TEDxQUT propagates the TED ethos by providing a platform for the sharing of unique ideas, development of curiosity, and inciting a deeper engagement with the world. TEDxQUT inspires our community to stimulate conversation and be part of solutions to make a positive change in our world.
Your ticket includes access to live TED talks, performances, interactive activities, catered lunch and morning tea, merchandise, and exclusive access to our 10 year anniversary after party.
*Content Warning: Some talks include discussions about suicide and rape. This may not be suitable for a younger audience.
The Humanitix booking fee helps to fund education projects for the world's most disadvantaged children.
