🎶 TEDxUQ Salon: Connect • Compose • Camaraderie

Join us for TEDxUQ’s very first Salon event – a more intimate and interactive TEDx experience designed to spark conversation, creativity, and connection.

Presented in collaboration with UQ Voices and featuring Vicki Bos (TEDxUQ 2024 speaker and experienced TESOL educator), this evening will explore the profound power of music as a bridge between cultures and languages.

✨ What to expect:

🔹An inspiring panel discussion on the role of music in building communities and fostering personal growth.

🔹A hands-on opportunity to compose a shared song with fellow participants.

🔹A unique chance to connect with others, reflect on your own journey, and discover how true camaraderie emerges when we unite in song.

Unlike our flagship TEDxUQ event, the Salon is deliberately small-scale, offering space to listen, interact, and co-create. Step into an evening where voices blend, ideas resonate, and harmony is built together.

📅 Date: Wednesday 10 September

📍 Location: UQ St Lucia, Terrace Room, Sir Llew Edwards Building (14)

Limited seats available so buy your ticket now to be part of TEDxUQ history and experience our first-ever Salon – where music becomes the thread that brings us closer together.
