Event description

Innovation arises from diverse industries, cultures, and disciplines as they combine to bring about change and solve the problems faced by the modern world. TEDxUWA celebrates this convergence of ideas with our biggest event of the year, TEDxUWA2021: Intersect!

Did you notice anything interesting about our theme image? The intersection of the streets represents where it all began: the Monterey Conference Centre in California, back in 1990, where the first ever TED talk was held.

Don’t miss out on our fantastic line-up of speakers, as they share with us their illuminating experiences, thoughts, and ideas. Keep an eye out on our event as we reveal who these innovative speakers are.

If that’s not enough, then maybe the incredible performances and activities that are lined up will persuade you? Catering is provided and this event is the perfect opportunity for you to network with our sensational speakers and other like-minded individuals.

Registration will begin at 10am for a 10:30am start. The event is scheduled to finish at 3:30pm.

Ticket prices will be $40 for general admission. Students will receive a 10% discount on the general admission price. This is open to all WA students (NOTE: you will be asked for your student number). Members will receive a 20% discount (check your emails for a sweet discount code).
