Teen & Adult Workshop: Absolute Beginners Photography

Just starting out in your photographic journey? What to learn how to take great photos with your phone or camera?  This workshop will help you learn the fundamentals of photography and some tricks of the trade to take better photos. Also a great place to start if you are thinking of studying art/design or photography next year.

Just bring along your phone or camera and your tutor Dean McLeod AKA Mr Black (from Black Creative), will share his photography knowledge in a relaxed engaging manner. There will be a presentation and hands on learning to gain better understanding of the basic settings and how to get the best out of you camera

Dean Mcleod is a creative, photographer and artist based in Kemureti (Cambridge) Waikato. He has run these beginners photography classes for the last 15 years and is currently in his last year of his Contemporary Art Degree at Wintec.

Workshop is $50 per person (+ booking fee of $1.80) this workshop has been subsidised thanks to funding from Ōtorohanga District Creative Communities Fund

Workshop runs Sunday 10-1pm, 29th September. You will need to bring your own camera or camera phone, paper and pen for taking notes.

The workshop will take place in the Courthouse at the Ōtorohanga Museum, 15 Kakamutu Road, Ōtorohanga.
