Description

Teen Collective is a relaxed monthly social space created for teenagers to come together, meet new people and spend time with others their own age, without the pressure to perform, achieve or be anything other than themselves.

No lessons. No pressure. No expectations. Just real connection, good vibes and a place to hang out.

For teenagers aged 12–16.

Each month, teens can choose how they’d like to spend their time. There might be games, movies, music, creative activities or themed evenings throughout the year or they can simply grab a snack, sit back and chat.

What can you expect?

🎲 Games Corner

Board games, card games and group challenges for some friendly competition, laughs and getting to know each other.

🎨 Creative Corner

Drawing, painting, journalling, crafts and other creative activities. No experience needed — just come along and have a go.

🛋️ Chill Space

Music, conversation, snacks and plenty of room to hang out, unwind and be yourself.

Why Teen Collective?

Teenagers are more digitally connected than ever, but that doesn't always replace the need for genuine, face-to-face connection.

Teen Collective was created to make space for exactly that. A place where teens can connect with others, laugh, chat and simply enjoy being around people their own age.

It's not about taking technology away. It's about making room for something technology can't replace: real human connection and a sense of belonging.

Meet Your Facilitators

Teen Collective is facilitated by Chloe and Jeannie from the Geelong Wellness Collective — both mums of teenagers, as well as experienced counsellors and wellbeing practitioners.

The idea for Teen Collective came from their own experience as parents. They were looking for a space where their teenagers could spend time with other young people, make genuine connections and simply hang out in a safe, relaxed environment.

When they couldn't find quite what they were looking for, they decided to create it themselves.

Together, Chloe and Jeannie bring a warm, down-to-earth approach to each Teen Collective evening, creating a space where teens can feel comfortable, included and free to be themselves.

FAQs

  • Food & Dietary Requirements

Snacks are included with your Teen Collective ticket and all food provided will be gluten-free.

If your teen has any other dietary requirements, food allergies or intolerances, please let us know when booking so we can do our best to accommodate their needs.

  • What ages is it for?

    For teens aged 12–16.

  • Is my teen expected to come alone?

Coming on your own? That's completely okay.

Your teen doesn't need to know anyone beforehand and we'll help them settle in and feel comfortable.

  • What happens when they arrive?

Drop-off & pick-up: Parents/guardians are required to drop their child off at the beginning of the session and return for pick-up at 7pm.

You will need to sign your child in and out of the event.

  • Is it supervised?

Teens are supervised by either one of our facilitators, Chloe and Jeannie, throughout the session.

  • What if they're anxious or don't want to participate?

There's no pressure to participate in every activity. Teens can choose what they'd like to join in with, or simply hang out and chat.

  • Is this a therapeutic program?

Teen Collective is a social space, not a counselling or therapy program.

While our facilitators have professional backgrounds in counselling and wellbeing, the focus of the evening is connection, friendship and having fun.

  • What should they bring?

    Just yourself!

You're welcome to bring a water bottle and anything else that helps you feel comfortable.

  • How many teens will be there?

Each Teen Collective session is limited to 12 teens, creating a relaxed environment where everyone has the opportunity to connect, participate and feel included.
