Teens & Adults Floral Sculpture Workshop with Sky Allen

Join floral designer Sky Allen of Arcadia aquatic for a wonderful small group (maximum 16 participants) workshop inspired by her Carrick Hill ‘In Bloom’ floral exhibition.

You will be guided to create your own take home dried flora mini sculpture in its own glass specimen cloche.

Arcadia aquatic is Sky Allen’s floral sculpture practice focusing on exploring Place and Sustainability. This guided workshop will explore a treasure trove of dried seed pods, buds, leaves and flowers for you to choose from. Under Sky’s guidance participants will explore the visual beauty that emerges when locally sourced dried flora is reconsidered and presented in a fun imaginative new way.

Participants are encouraged to bring a small handful of dried seed pods or similar that you love to include in your special mini sculpture we will create together. This workshop is designed for adults and mature teens over 12 years of age. All levels of crafting experience welcome.
