Tell Me Tauranga | Kōrerohia Mai
Event description
True stories told live by an exceptional selection of local storytellers.
Storytelling is the bridge that connects people, cultures and generations. It teaches us that we share common hopes, dreams and struggles beneath our differences.
This year’s event, for the first time, will be run as a fundraiser with proceeds going towards supporting ongoing treatment for Remi Henderson, a little local girl who has been diagnosed with Rett Syndrome - a rare genetic neurological disorder that primarily affects girls, impacting the ability to walk, talk, eat, sleep, breathe and use their hands.
The theme ‘Not What I Expected’ will showcase storytellers who are united by stories of dreams dashed, ambitions thwarted; and how they survived to tell the tale.
As in previous years, we have a line-up of fabulous storytellers for you to listen to on the night.
Food and drinks available to purchase on the night. Live entertainment provided by Charmonics.
Speaker details to come soon.
