Children's Story Telling Festival
Held over the middle weekend of the July school holidays, this one-day Festival event is designed for children aged 4yrs -14yrs to enjoy and benefit from an affordable and creative day out.
Many published WA authors and illustrators will present interactive workshops throughout the day. Multiple sessions on offer at any given time allow you to select a session which best suits your family.
This year will see interactive workshops and performances with illustration, creative writing, songwriting, drama, dress-ups and of course, storytelling.
The day will culminate in a community theatre production of Hansel & Gretel in the evening. Please note, this is a separate ticketed event here:

The parade is a highlight at lunchtime and we encourage everyone to dress up as their favourite story character and join in the fun.
Adults may accompany the children to the workshops, enjoy a coffee in the local cafés and browse the many interesting retail outlets.
Balingup is renowned for its fabulous events and this Festival is sure to be a fantastic day out!
