Learn to write compelling stories drawn from real life

This course is the perfect introduction to life writing. Held over 6 weeks, these workshops with author Adrienne Ferreira will guide you to develop five short stories and experiment with different styles.

Fun prompts and exercises will help you discover what's bubbling inside and calling you to write. Learn the elements of good storytelling while you unpack your writing fears, explore how to approach truth-telling in creative ways and gain practical tips from an experienced writer.

Along with readings and discussion, each week you’ll learn powerful literary techniques and have the chance to workshop your writing in a supportive space. Classes are kept small to ensure everyone receives individual feedback from Adrienne.

By the end of the course, you'll have formed valuable relationships with other storytellers, and gained the skills and confidence to keep writing.
