Event description

Telluride Mushroom Festival

August 14th-18th 2024

The Telluride Mushroom Festival is in its 44th year of celebration. Every August, mushroom lovers from around the world gather in Telluride, CO to celebrate all things fungi.

Visit our website for event details and this years schedule. (released around May)

Attend expert lectures, panels and discussions ranging from psychedelic research new findings to decriminalization, medicinal mushrooms, and our beloved wild mushrooms Forays with a expert mycologist. Afternoons are full of cooking workshops/tastings plus free cultivation workshops along with a Mushroom ID Tent. You'll find dozens of mushroom vendors selling things like mushroom jerky and inoculated kombucha, mushroom foraging baskets, art, pottery and more! At night our keynote mycologists take the stage, such as Paul Stamets, Giuliana Furci, Tradd Cotter, Andy Weil and other special guests. Afterwards panel discussions with experts in Decriminalization of Entheogen's/Psychedelic Research and Mushroom culture fascinate us with all that is happening in Fungi. Finish the night with live concerts and stand up poetry, Mushroom Movies then do it all over again tomorrow!

On Saturday of the festival TMF has the largest known mushroom parade filled with thousands of people shutting down the town, dressing up as their favorite mushroom and marching down main street to end the towns park for the iconic drummers/dancing circle. The party goes well on into the evening, sometimes the next morning! NEW this year is the Puff Ball - keep your costume on for evening DJ and dance.

Plan ahead and visit our website for more information and book your ticket asap. We sell out every year and have limited spots.. We can't wait to see you at our "all things fungi", Telluride Mushroom Festival!

See you there :)
