Only one woman in Australia Rock history commanded the attention, the controversy and the praise that found Chrissy Amphlett out front of the iconic Divinyls. From their formation in 1980 to the devastating passing of Chrissy in 2013, the Divinyls and Chrissy changed the face of music and paved the way for women of rock for years to come.
In the ultimate tribute to her idol, renowned Melbourne rock-chick Drucindy-Rae created Temperamental, the most authentic portrayal of Australia’s Queen of Rock Chrissy Amphlett and Divinyls ever seen.
Temperamental have produced a visually and musically stunning representation of the Divinyls songs and live shows.
Drucindy delivers an uncanny portrayal of Chrissy Amphlett with a vocal accuracy guaranteed to blow minds, the attitude and energy we all know and a visual accuracy to defy the senses.
Mark McEntee’s, guitar parts are played with imagery that is accurately replicated by Will Cook. James Knipe on Bass, James Szabo on Drums and Warren Mutimer (guitar) complete the band with details applied to notes, instruments and sounds used to ensure a musically brilliant experience.
From hit song to hit song such as Boys in Town, Pleasure and Pain, Science Fiction, Touch Myself and many more, it’s a show that “has to be seen to be believed”. Costume changes during the set mirror the visual image and attitude of Chrissy Amphlett in full flight. Combined with a band that delivers the goods musically, with a truckload of energy and accuracy and a few merchandise giveaways, it’s a formula for fun for all in attendance.
Temperamental have been performing for pubs, nightclubs, festivals and larger outdoor events, both locally and nationally since 2014 and are an absolute “must see” for all Divinyls and Chrissy Amphlett fans and lovers of this Iconic Australian act.
