Temple of the Heart
Event description
Blossom into the Spring with us as we journey into the Heart.
The Heart Chakra (Anahata), our 4th energetic centre and the gateway between the physical and metaphysical is our focus in this workshop, designed to allow you to work with and open this place of unconditional love – for both ourselves and others.
Together we will create and hold a sacred space to deepen our connection within, thereby allowing us to experience life with more ease and fullness.
We will be practicing Heart opening Asana (yoga postures) which lead us into a free flowing dance as we embody what moves us from the Heart space, followed by simply receiving the tranquil resonance of a relaxing Sound Bath with Crystal Singing Bowls.
Cacao will also be served to assist us in this process, as Cacao is known in both ancient cultures and confirmed by modern science as a Heart-opening (vasodilator) medicine.
You will leave this workshop uplifted, empowered and with new tools of self-discovery that will assist you to continue to deepen your connection to this powerful place within, and through this all and everything around you.

About Tara:
It was Yoga Philosophy that drew Tara to complete her year-long Diploma in Yoga with Wellpark College in 2010 followed by Yoga Therapy and later completing Level 2 and 3 (300 hours) with Ashram Yoga in Tamaki Makaurau.
With a particular interest in the energetic body, Tara likes to connect to the subtle realm through embodied dance and postures incorporating this into her daily practice, deeply feeling and moving from within with particular attention to the emotional body.
In this way Tara has experienced expansive transformation and has cultivated a self-awareness that enables her to lead her life intuitively, with intention.
