Event description

Join us for a peaceful morning at Vimokkharam Forest Hermitage, a secluded Buddhist sanctuary in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges. This visit offers a unique opportunity to observe monastic traditions, participate in a meal offering, and engage in meaningful discussions with the resident monks.

🕙 Saturday, 19 April 2025, 10:00 AM

Schedule:

  • 10:00 AM – Dana (Meal Offering): Visitors are welcome to offer food to the monastics as part of the traditional alms-giving practice.

  • 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM – Lunch and Clean-up: Shared meal followed by cleaning up together.

  • 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM – Q&A Session: Engage in an informal discussion with Ajahn Khemanando and/or Ajahn Hasappanno. Bring your Dhamma-related questions for thoughtful dialogue.

Enjoy a morning of mindfulness, offering, and meaningful conversation in the tranquil forest setting. Whether you come for reflection, learning, or simply to experience the beauty of the hermitage, all are welcome.
