2024 Victorian Temporal Bone Advanced Surgical Course


Event description

This is a course dedicated to the surgical anatomy of the middle ear and advanced technical skill development in temporal bone surgery. Cadaveric specimens will be used allowing participants to dissect surgical approaches, perform ossiculoplasties, cochlear implant electrode insertion and other specific surgical technique. This advanced instruction course is open to Senior Registrars/Fellows with some experience in temporal bone dissection.  

The course is also open to a group of participants who don’t dissect but would be able to observe and use all workstations.

Please note: tickets for this event will be provided through an external provider (Humanitix), and additional booking fees will be charged. The Humanitix booking fees are non-refundable.
