Tenants Queensland 40th Anniversary Celebrate in Person or Online

Join Tenants Queensland, along with friends old and new, as we celebrate 40 years of supporting, empowering and advocating with and for renters across Queensland.

We warmly invite you to join us on the evening of Thursday 19 November for a special anniversary event reflecting on our history, celebrating our achievements, and looking ahead to the future of renting.

This hybrid event can be attended either in person or online.

If you can't join us in person at our West End, Brisbane, celebration, you can tune in live to enjoy our guest speakers, panel discussion and mini trivia.

Those attending in person at Souths Leagues Club, West End, will enjoy guest speakers panel and mini trivia, will also enjoy hearty canapés, live entertainment, a raffle, lucky door prize and the opportunity to reconnect with the people who have shaped Tenants Queensland's journey over the past four decades.

The evening will feature a conversation with Tenants Queensland CEO Penny Carr, reflecting on the organisation's history, achievements and future direction. We are also delighted to welcome Dr Chris Martin from UNSW Sydney's City Futures Research Centre, who will explore the changing face of renting in Australia and what lies ahead for renters. You'll also hear from past and present team members, board members and supporters who have helped build Tenants Queensland into the organisation it is today.

Whether you have been part of our story for many years or are newly connected to our work, we would love you to join us as we celebrate 40 years of advocating with and for Queensland renters.
