Tender Funerals Geelong - Launch & Fundraiser

Join us on Wednesday 16th September for the launch of Tender Funerals Geelong at the Geelong Regional Library.

This free event will feature guest speaker Jenny Briscoe-Hough, Founder & CEO of Tender Funerals Australia, and a screening of "Tender" the documentary film; a heartbreakingly beautiful glimpse of an extraordinary community taking on one of the most essential challenges of human life... its end.

After years of work from a committed group of volunteers, a home for Tender Funerals Geelong has been found and is set to become Victoria’s first community-owned, not-for-profit funeral service.

We are now seeking the support to fund the fit-out of the building and bring this essential service to our region.

Doors open at 5.30pm for tea and coffee and light refreshments with official proceedings beginning at 6.00pm
