Event description
Making sense of procurement data for Government - DemoÂ
A clearer picture for better decisionsÂ
Date:Â Friday 4th August 9:30am - 11:00amÂ
Venue:Â Canberra Museum & Gallery 176 London Circuit, CanberraÂ
Through its Buy Australia Plan and the Future Made in Australia Office, the federal government has made clear its intention to improve the way government contracts work and build domestic industry capability through the Australian Government’s purchasing power.
Government procurement is a huge economic lever, with the potential to grow Australia’s local economy, strengthen our domestic industry and ensure better participation of SMEs. While the private sector has relied on high quality and dynamic data intelligence to guide decision making, the public sector hasn’t traditionally had access to the same high-quality data.
Procurement reform and more effective deployment of government spending relies on clear and actionable data intelligence. InnovationAus.com and procurement data intelligence firm Tendertrace invite you to attend an event specifically designed for government buyers, with a live demonstration of the Tendertrace procurement analytics platform.
This is a short, two-hour morning event, where attendees have the opportunity to see Tendertrace in action, as co-founder Abu Odigie will walk through some of the key data insights that can be generated by users at the push of a button.
Abu will present a data visualisation of successful contract patterns over the past 24 months, and some key indicators of successful SME participation in procurement activity. He will also take questions from the audience to query the powerful Tendertrace platform to provide real time answers to specific questions about contract data.
This presentation will be delivered by Tendertrace CEO and Co-founder Abu Odigie and moderated by InnovationAus.com Publisher Corrie McLeod.
