Tending to Stories
Event description
Our 2023 conference, co-hosted by WATAC Inc. (Women and the Australian Church) and the Australian Collaborators in Feminist Theologies (ACFT), will run 13-15 October 2023. We will explore the ongoing place of stories and narrative within feminist theology, the variety of ways in which stories can be heard and held, and the place of story tellers in communities of hope.
The conference will envelop the annual Janette Gray RSM Memorial Lecture to be presented by Rev Dr Cathie Lambert Saturday 14 October.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
13 Friday: Commences at 3pm and concludes at 6:30pm (registration desk open from 2pm)
14 Saturday: Commences at 9am and concludes at 5pm (registration desk open from 8am)
14 Saturday: Janette Gray RSM Memorial Drinks and Canapes and Lecture: Dinner commences at 6pm and the lecture commences at 7pm
15 Sunday: Commences at 9am and concludes at 1pm.
The format will be hybrid with some sessions available online. All of the maintstage content and then 2 of 3 papers where the program splits up will be available over zoom. A link will be provided to online session ticket holders closer to the date of the conference.

Tickets are sold separately for the conference in-person or online attendance, and for the dinner and lecture.
