TCB - Tension Control Bolts & Shear Wrenches | Tension Control Bolts
The TCB seminar is relevant to fabricators, design & consulting engineers as well as temporary works, site, project, technical, drawing office, contract & commercial managers.
The seminar covers high strength bolting, the installation tools and their environmentally friendly coating “Greenkote®” which meets the stringent C5HighM accreditation for offshore structures.
The seminar lasts approx. 1 hour and includes a live demonstration with plates of steel – they also show and discuss various applications- with examples of general construction, bridges, high rise, rail, nuclear power, wind turbine applications as well as structures, stadia, gantries etc.
Well established in the UK, North America & Asia; High Strength Friction Grip TCBs are now increasingly being specified by consulting engineers in Australia & NZ to mitigate against risk and focus on quality and sustainability. The standards in Australia & NZ are also now aligned to European standards.
Session will finish with a Q&A which can go into more depth on high rise, bridges, rail, seismic strengthening or general infrastructure projects as required.
Refreshments are provided by Konnect Fastening Systems/TCB and, though informal, the seminar is very informative.

A review of the seminar in the UK:
“…Just a note to let you know that today we received an excellent CPD presentation from Arnie Glausiusz of TCB Limited, on ‘High Strength Friction Grip & Pre-Loaded Bolts’, which attracted a high interest and was very well received across Risley CSA community and partners. TCB have been engaged on Site on several projects and have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Nuclear field, which they would like to share. It is my view and the general consensus of all the CPD attendees, that the presentation content, style of delivery, Education Value and learning gained from this CPD is of the highest standard, falls in line with our Company core business, and should be presented to our people up on site…”
