Available Session Times
- Days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
- Times: 9.30 - 10.30AM, 12.30 - 1.30PM
Hosted by expert educators, students will develop their understanding of living and non-living things, the impacts of human activities on an ecosystem and solutions to increase biodiversity at school or home.
During this interactive virtual learning session your students will:
Years F - 2
- learn about Australian animal features, habitats and life cycles
- explore what an animal needs in its environment to survive
- consider how humans can care for animals and their habitat
Years 3 - 10
- learn about and identify elements of a healthy habitat for a variety of organisms
- explore scientific methods to measure and analyse their observation
- consider how humans can care for local habitats and organisms
- explore connections between Indigenous Australians and the native Australian landscape (Years 7-10)
Curriculum: Science, Geography and Sustainability.
Important notes:
- Our maximum group size is 30 students. Each ticket is for one class per registered school. If you have more than 30 students you will need to book a number of tickets. We aim to maximise student engagement and the opportunity for questions.
- Payments made online using a credit card will accrue a booking fee for each session ticket purchased. Alternatively, you can request an invoice.
- The session will open 10 minutes before the scheduled start
- We use Zoom Video Conferencing to deliver virtual learning sessions.
- Q & A will be left open for students to communicate with CERES educators during the webinar.

- PC, laptop or smartboard - allow the Zoom extension file download request
- For in-school student webinars, we recommend one smartboard and a minimum of 1 device per 3 students
