Artways 1, Term 2, Printmaking with Linocuts

Wednesday 4 May - 25 May, 1.00pm - 3.00pm 

Come and learn printmaking basics with our educator and artist, Nicole Ison, who specialises in printmaking in her own arts practice. 

Over 4-weeks you will be introduced to creative and technical printmaking processes using linocuts. You will learn design techniques, carving skills (we have all the tools you will need), and hand printing. You will begin creating a single-colour design followed by two-colours, culminating in a selection of your own prints to take-home. 

This Artways 1 series is extended upon in Artways 2, an opportunity to extend upon skills developed and extend your practice with four-colour reduction printmaking with linocuts.
