Want to make the most of your time in Australia? Do you want to learn to swim or improve your swim skills?

This program includes 8 x 1-hour sessions with a qualified instructor to work on your swimming skills and water safety. You will also have the opportunity to learn how to stay safe at the beach, meet new friends and learn life skills that will improve your well-being.

WHEN:

Program Dates: Tuesday 20 September 2022 for 8-weeks until 8 November 2022.

Program Time: 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm.

Program Cost: $50, payable via Humanitix only.

Swimming Session Timetable:

Week 1 - Tuesday 20 September, 1:45 pm - 3:30 pm - includes welcome session prior to commencement (45-minute session).

Week 2 - Tuesday 27 September, 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm.

Week 3 - Tuesday 4 October, 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm.

Week 4 - Tuesday 11 October, 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm.

Week 5 - Tuesday 18 October, 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm.

Week 6 - Tuesday 25 October, 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm.

Week 7 - Tuesday 1 November, 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm.

Week 8 - Tuesday 8 November, 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm - includes distribution of certificates, the program evaluation session prior to commencement and dinner after the swim session.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

This is a highly sought - after program and heavily subsidised by UNSW Health and Well being.
This program is open ONLY TO CURRENT UNSW STUDENTS.
We expect you to attend ALL sessions.
Certificates of completion will be given to students who have completed at least 80% of sessions.
To confirm your placement you need to pay the $50 co-contribution and complete the Pre-Program survey that will be shared with you in the welcome email.
We will be offering a meal on the last day of the program. Please let us know if you are interested in attending and specify your dietary
requirements when booking your ticket.
Due to the demand for this program, NO REFUNDS will be given. Be sure that you are able to commit to 8 sessions.
Please note: students are not allowed to switch between classes throughout the program and are no longer entitled to a make-up session if they miss a class.
