Term 4 - Nelson School Criterium Cycling Series

Criterium Series Details: Koha entry

Term 4 - Friday 16th/23rd/30th October /6th November 2026 (Reserve day 20th November)

Location - Saxton Velodrome

Competitors must have a functioning bike, well-fitting helmet, shoes and gloves.

Pre-registration preferred by 4pm Thursday before each event: www.trackcyclingnelson.nz

4:20 Sign-on and warmup opens. Race numbers to be displayed on handlebars.

4:40 RACE 1: Under 5 boys/girls, 10 min

5:00 RACE 2: 5-6 years boys/girls, 10 min

5:20pm RACE 3: 7-8 years boys/girls, 10 min

5:40pm RACE 4: 9-10 years boys/girls, 10 min

5:55 Senior warm up opens.

6:15 RACE 5 - Senior (novice) and Elite riders - 11-18 years, 15 min

Same start time for boys and girls but events scored separately. Podium presentations at the completion of each race. (Weekly performance prizes for 1st 2nd 3rd)

Overall series winners announced at final round.

All race numbers to be returned after completion of each race in exchange for a prize
