Event description

At BOP we develop and deliver programs for primary and high school students to help them develop their 21st-century skills around entrepreneurship, STEAM, and innovation. We work with schools, government and industry to create real, relevant and relatable content for students to get them innovating, creating and discovering the amazing things they can do at any age, from anywhere.

Our Term 4 After School Online Workshop line-up will be taking place on different days from weeks 3 to 8 of the school term. You can find our event descriptions below, with more information in the FAQs.

Innovation In Aviation: Build Your Own Airline

In our ‘Build Your Own Airline’ program, students will be learning the ins and outs of airline management as they build their own airline. Starting with picking a hub for their new airline, students will be planning routes, purchasing aircraft, designing their layout and more over the course of the term.

Exploring examples of airlines around the world getting set to expand, students will be learning from real world case studies, before then applying their learnings as they plan and design their own airlines in this after school program.

Business Builders

Have you ever thought about launching your own business? Well chances are it might be easier to do that you had thought. Our Business Builders after school program is designed to get young people identifying their passions and creating businesses around these.

In our Business Builders program, students learn what it takes to design, create, and build their own business. Our young people work with an expert team of facilitators and will be challenged to prototype their own product or service. They will take the time to understand the business basics before then building their own brand ready to launch at the end of the term.
