🎨 Kids Art Club - 8 Week Term (Ages 8–13)

Looking for something different from sports or screen time?
Our Kids Art Club is designed for young creatives who want to explore their imagination, build skills, and gain confidence through art.

Over 8 weeks, kids will dive into drawing, painting, and mixed media projects that are hands-on, fun, and age-appropriate. Every session introduces a new technique while encouraging personal expression.

By the end of term, your child will take home a portfolio of artworks—including their own “masterpiece”—and a big boost of creative confidence!

🖌 What Kids Will Do Each Week

• Line Adventures – turn simple lines into amazing portraits

• Colour Explosion – bold abstract painting while learning colour mixing

• Shading & 3D Magic – draw characters that pop off the page

• Dream Landscapes (Collage) – build imaginative mixed-media dream worlds exploring surrealism

• Mixed Media Magic – experiment with wax resist, salt, and textures

• Portrait Play – paint your pet or furry creations

• My Masterpiece – a final artwork using their favourite techniques

📅 Term Details

• When: Starts Sat 11 October from 1030am - 12pm

• Continues: Weekly for 8 weeks until Sat 6 December.

• Where: Obsidian Bide Art Gallery & Studio, Shop 9, #9 Toorbul St Bongaree, Bribie Island QLD.

• Ages: 8–12 years

• Cost: $25/week (+booking fees) – covers all materials
