Mixdance - Recreational for 7-10yrs

This class for 7-10yrs olds is for those who would like to give dance a go, without the pressure of performing. We welcome beginners and those who have danced before to this mash up class of ballet & lyrical/contemporary. We start with basic exercises to warm up our bodies then move onto floorwork, travelling, jumps and turns. Find your own movement in this expressive dance class.

Wednesdays 4-5pm 6weeks 14th October - 18th November $100

Little Legs - for 3-5yr olds, a creative play filled dance class exploring ballet and contemporary techniques, with Sym.

Fridays 9.30 - 10.15am 6 weeks, 16th October - 20th November $70

Tippy Tap - for 4-6yrs. Make some noise and discover the fun of tap dancing! This class is perfect for our younger students to develop rhythm, coordination, musicality, and foundational tap skills in a fun and encouraging environment. No tap shoes? No problem! Tap shoes are available to hire, making it easy to give it a try.

Saturdays 12-12.45pm, 6 weeks 17th October - 21st November, $70, OR $95 including shoe hire.

Terms & Conditions

• ACD reserves the right to NOT run a short course if the minimum number of students is not reached, if this happens you will get a refund.

• Students need to bring their OWN water bottle to dance.

• Please remember there is to be no food or drink in the dance space except water. Please also take your own food/drink waste with you as ACD has no regular rubbish removal/plus potential ant issues!

• Hand sanitiser is available at the entrance and all students are encouraged to use this upon entry. Soap and water is available in the toilet.

• Please do not attend dance classes if you are unwell, stay safe and rested at home. Please also advise us if you are diagnosed with Covid-19 and have been at dance.

• All students are encouraged to not use phones whilst at dance.

Albany Contemporary Dance takes duty of care towards students very seriously. However, students acknowledge that dance is a physical art form and there is a low risk of injury. Parents & students acknowledge they have read and agree to the terms & conditions listed
