Term 4 Stay and Play Mon, Tues, Thurs
Event description
On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday young people are welcome to visit our site for a 1-hour stay and play running during our Bush Kinder and Forest School program. Families fully supervise their children (whatever their age) and are responsible for their arrival and departure at the designated times.
Young people can explore the space in the company of their carers by:
joining in the activities offered to our Forest School and Bush Kinder children
engaging in free play
roaming the site or;
simply unwinding and connecting with others.
With multiple session times available, you can choose what works best around your schedule.
Book a 1-pack (1 hour or 2 hour option), HALF TERM 5-pack (5% discount) or FULL TERM 10-pack (10% discount). Once booked, your tickets can be used at any of our stay and play times. If you plan to use your ticket in a week other than the upcoming week, please email info@bornwildcommunity.org.au so we can manage our numbers. Please indicate your intended day when completing the checkout questions.
If you are looking for 2 hour+ sessions, you may also like to consider our Monday morning Bush Playgroup or our Thursday morning Family Forest Skills Group.
Babes in arms are free with a paying sibling. We understand for our littlest babies, it is so important for the parent (often a mum) to connect with others, and for the baby to be out in the fresh air, noticing the trees and feeling the dirt between their toes. For families attending with just a baby, we ask for a $6.00 contribution to cover insurance and site fees.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds if you cannot attend, however get in touch prior to the session and we can provide a credit to be used in the next 6 months at any of our Born Wild Community sessions.
MULTI AGE GROUPS Our programs target children aged 0–12, with research consistently showing that younger children thrive by observing and learning from older peers, while older children build leadership and empathy skills. This approach fosters a rich, inclusive setting that supports a wide range of developmental needs.
NOT FOR PROFIT Born Wild Community is a registered charity, meaning all payments we receive are put back into improving our programs. We are required to meet minimum numbers and self support our programs. In the event a program does not meet minimum numbers, transfer to alternate days, or a full refund of the registration fee will be offered.
If you are NOT SURE if Born Wild Community is right for your young person, please contact us and we can provide additional information and options info@bornwildcommunity.org.au. Please note the program does not have administration each day on email or social media. Responses will usually be provided within 3-5 business days.
