New Dates: Propagation Made Easy - 5 Week Course

Topics covered in this course will include and but are not limited to; sexual plant propagation; seed treatment; seed sowing; growing media; plant nutrition; soil biology; asexual propagation; harvesting and preparing cuttings and other facets for the home gardener.

This is very much a hands-on course in which the students will have use of The Hut’s facilities such as the greenhouse and it's propagation unit, the vegipods, wicking beds and the pot culture system, all which will suit various crops, fruits, shrubs and trees. 

The Term 4 course will start on Thursday November 14th 2024 from 10am to 2pm and occurs on Thursdays weekly for 5 weeks. There are two field trips included in this course. A field trip with transport provided will be on Tuesday the 26th of November (with no class on the Thursday that week). There is also a mini field trip with self transport required, date to be confirmed.
