Term 4 - Sustainable Schools Network Meeting
Event description
The Inner West Sustainable Schools Network is a forum to share sustainability skills and learning resources, find local opportunities and inspire ideas.
As 2025 comes to a close, we've organised a special Term 4 network meeting. Hosted at Palace Cinemas Norton Street (99 Norton Street, Leichhardt NSW 2040), in the foyer. Following the meeting will be an exclusive and free screening of "Future Councils" documentary. You do not have to attend both the meeting and screening, if you do not wish. Please register for the meeting and screening seperately (seats are limited and only open to participants of Council's Sustainable Schools and Community Gardens networks and Youth Climate Workshop attendees).
Light refreshments will be provided at the meeting, snacks for the movie will need to be purchased at your own cost from the snack bar.

Getting to Palace Cinemas Norton Street:
Bus: The 440, 445 and 438X/N buses all stop along Norton Street. Hop off at Leichhardt Public School, Norton St or Norton St opp Norton Plaza and walk just a few minutes to the cinema.

Teachers can register their participation through their NESA / Teacher Accreditation / ETAMS account under Elective Professional Development. The Course addresses Standard 6 Engage in Professional Learning:
6.2.2 Participate in learning to update knowledge and practice targeted to professional needs and school and/or system priorities.
6.3.2 Contribute to collegial discussions and apply constructive feedback from colleagues to improve professional knowledge and practice.
6.4.2 Undertake professional learning programs designed to address identified student learning needs.
