The Ascham Parents’ Association (APA) plays an important role in fostering a supportive, connected and caring parent community within the School.
All Ascham parents and legal guardians are members of the APA. The Association is led by a President and Vice President and supported by an Executive Committee, Year Representatives and a General Committee comprising 30–40 parents from Hillingdon, Fiona and the Senior School.
The APA Committee and Year Representatives meet each term to plan and coordinate a wide range of events and activities that strengthen and enrich the School community. These include the Annual APA Cocktail Party, APA Family Fun & Tennis Day, Junior School Movie Night, Festive Food Market, parent coffee mornings, drinks, dinners and family events throughout the year.
In addition, the APA operates the preloved uniform store, which opens several times throughout the year, minimising waste and assisting our community.
Funds raised by the APA contribute to improving School facilities, supporting Ascham families in need and providing donations to selected charities.
The Committee warmly welcomes parents who would like to become more involved in the School community, with new members joining at the beginning of each year.
