Evidence-based information will be provided on:

• non-directive all options counselling - parenting, alternative care arrangements and adoption and abortion
• reproductive coercion
• medical termination of pregnancy in general practice 
• Qld abortion law, access and pathways

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

• GPs considering becoming Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTOP) providers
• GPs new to providing MTOP wanting to network
• Experienced providers wanting to support their colleagues
• Others in primary care teams eg practice nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers
• Community pharmacists
• PHN staff, HHS staff interested in supporting access to TOP in Central Queensland

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

• Discuss pregnancy options context in Queensland and appropriate referral pathways 
  
• Reflect on and clarify personal and professional values
  
• Understand basic counselling skills to support women and pregnant people considering their pregnancy options or seeking abortion care 
• Recognise the intersection of unplanned pregnancy, domestic violence and reproductive coercion
• Identify ways to integrate (access to) MTOP in General Practice clinics

There will be an opportunity for Q&A and networking with specialists and other GP providers.
