Digital Fabrication Demystified - A Tesselation Creation

Proudly supported by Inspiring SA, Makerspace Adelaide presents Digital Fabrication Demystified - A Tesselation Creation. In this four-part workshop, participants will learn a variety of skills in digital fabrication, including 3D printing and laser cutting. Working in a friendly collaborative group, our facilitators will guide participants to create blocks that will form a tesselation wall art installation.

Get hands on with:

• 2D & 3D design

• Laser cutting

• 3D printing

• Advanced Manufacturing techniques

• Experimentating with various materials

This is a four-part workshop taking place on:

• Saturday 1st Nov 5:30pm-8:30pm

• Saturday 8th Nov 5:30pm-8:30pm

• Saturday 15th Nov 5:30pm-8:30pm

• Saturday 22nd Nov 5:30pm-8:30pm

Elegibility Criteria

• Age 16+

• Basic computer skills are required

• Vector drawing skills are recommended, but not required

Participants should fit with one or more of the follwing:

• Identify as neurodivergent

• Live with a disability

• Identify as a woman

• Identify as LGBTQIA+
