It is a platform of new works from our community of choreographers. Witness raw physicality, ideas in motion, and the latest in our local and leading artists as they share with you hot new experimental art and contemporary dance.

Artist line-up:

A Body Which Draws Itself by Micah Rustichelli

A Body Which Draws Itself by Micah Rustichelli is an iterative project in which the artist allows the movements, reflexes and limitations of the body to make marks, exploring the body's capacity for autonomous self-portraiture.

Alter idem by Georgia Pierce

Alter idem is an interrogation of selves through a pseudo-duet between dancer, Georgia Pierce, and her self-portrait rag doll - both shed layers of protection, test absorption and pull apart filters they use to navigate the outside world as a means to fully realise that skin is not a solid border between self and other.

Artists: Georgia Pierce - performer/choreographer & Alex Pierce - sound design

REBIRTH by Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre

REBIRTH, from Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre, directed by Gina Tay Limpus, is a cyclical tale of birth, breath, life and death through a sea of shifting anomalous bodies.

Artists: Gina Tay Limpus, Maxi Mossman, Liam Linane, Indiah Morris and Stuart Nix

SEED by Soleil Harvey

SEED explores the filters and preconceived notions through which we perceive ourselves and one another, traversing a dream-like landscape through the use of live performance and projection technology.

Artists: Soleil Harvey - Choreographer/performer and Abstract Human Radio (Finley Wegener) - Sound & Projection

READY TO ROLL: TESTING SITE. Offering a practical kit to support artists to move from studio creation to presenter ready.

READY TO ROLL responds to the gap in making processes for Indie Artists to access resources, infrastructure and support – through critical mass and community gatherings – to efficiently and effectively put art+business packages together.
