Tetrapak Workshop 11 October 26T4
Description
Tetrapak Workshop with Karen Thio 26T4
TetraPaks are the containers that you would have on hand in your pantry. Think of the long llfe milk and the stock containers that you would usually throw out after you have used the contents.
These containers can be reused and upcycled into beautiful and creative eco-friendly designs and printed just like traditional intaglio metal or wooden plates. Using a method of carving and lifting off the layers of plastic silver foil inside the tetrapak, these tetrapaks can be used as printing plates to created multiple original art images.
This gives the single use packaging a second life, lowering material costs and waste.
