Forest of the Senses transforms Reddie's Clerkenwell showroom into a sculptural forest of precision-machined timber forms — designed by Giles Miller Studio, fabricated by Glenalmond Timber from responsibly sourced Abodo Wood. Walk through it. Touch it. Hear it. Smell it.

For one evening during London Festival of Architecture 2026, Teulo Talks LIVE brings together designers, fabricators, and material specialists inside the work — to explore how provenance, materiality, and specification choices shape not just buildings, but belonging.

THE EVENING — 5.30pm to 9pm

5.30pm — Doors open. Explore the installation. Woodland-inspired food and drink served throughout.

6.30pm — Teulo Talks LIVE: a case study-led CPD session with Giles Miller Studio, Glenalmond Timber, and Abodo, exploring material craft, fabrication, and the question of who we design for.

8pm onwards — Networking within the installation. Music by Stanley Watts.

Forest Of The Senses

The built environment shapes who belongs in our city. What we build, preserve, or remove determines who feels welcome, safe, and represented — and who does not.

Forest of the Senses responds by reimagining belonging as something embodied, shared, and collectively shaped.

The timber installations present a striking, contemporary interpretation of trees and the forest environment, reimagined through sculptural form. Designed to be experienced spatially, the works invite visitors to move through and around them — creating a sense of immersion within a crafted forest landscape.

Audiences are encouraged not only to observe but to engage physically. By touching the surfaces, visitors experience the textures of the natural materials and the craftsmanship behind each piece, fostering a deeper, more tactile connection to the work.

Sight – Giles Miller Studio

Striking sculptural timber forms that shift and reveal themselves as you move through the space.

Touch — Abodo & Glenalmond

Precision-machined Abodo timber, responsibly sourced and crafted to invite physical connection. Studies show that exposure to natural textures can lower cortisol levels, reduce blood pressure, and support nervous system regulation.

Sound — MindFidelity

A bespoke atmospheric soundscape that echoes the rhythms and tonal qualities of a forest — from subtle natural sounds to more abstract sonic layers, adding depth and presence to the environment.

Scent — Dulcie

A fragrance dimension that deepens the emotional connection to the space, enriching the sensory journey through smell.

Taste

Woodland-inspired food and drink that extends the experience into taste, blurring the boundaries between art, nature, and embodied encounter.

Together, these elements create a holistic, multi-sensory environment that invites reflection, exploration, and heightened sensory awareness.
