Textile Repair Workshop with Reverse Garbage (Ages 12 plus)

At this workshop you will learn about the fast fashion crisis from a waste and materials perspective. We will look at what clothes are conventionally made of and how it impacts our environment, reflecting on actions we can take for a sustainable future. To support your skills there will be time to learn more about at home repairs or crafts, ultimately building your confidence to approach hand sewing! 

Bring along your own clothing items to mend or use the recycled fabric scraps provided at the workshop to build your confidence in hand sewing.
