Thanksgiving ‘26
Description
Thursday, 26 November
Join the Australian American Association Canberra division at King O’Malley’s on Thursday 26th November for an American Thanksgiving with an Aussie twist. You’ll be welcomed with a drink at 11:30 am and then we’ll sit down at noon for a roast turkey and all the trimmings.
Come with a mate or come on your own - there’s a place at the table for you to share a few laughs and to toast the things that you’re thankful for!
If you’re feeling especially generous, bring along an unwrapped toy for the US Marines’ Toys for Tots program. The team at King O’Malley’s has generously put their hand up to be a collection point for gifts until 5 December.
The U.S. Embassy in Canberra Toys for Tots program is an annual holiday tradition where U.S. Marines posted at the embassy collect and deliver new toys to young patients at the Canberra Hospital in partnership with the Canberra Hospital Foundation's Givemas initiative.
